HGTV Revives 1990s Aesthetics with Celebrity Teams in New Home Renovation Show

HGTV is set to bring back some iconic design elements from the '90s in its latest series, “Totally ‘90s House.” This engaging competition is hosted by Jaleel White, best known for his role as Steve Urkel on “Family Matters,” and will feature two celebrity teams as they embark on a quest to update homes that reflect the era's distinctive style.

The six-episode series showcases an exciting showdown between celebrity pairs, who will not only find nostalgic homes but also compete to enhance these spaces while preserving their quintessential ‘90s charm. With a roster packed with familiar faces from beloved sitcoms, fans will have a tough time choosing sides as they cheer for personalities they grew up with.

Participants include Melissa Joan Hart from "Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” Brian Austin Green of “Beverly Hills, 90210,” and Jodie Sweetin from “Full House.” Rounding out the teams are Beverly Mitchell from “7th Heaven,” Matthew Lawrence of “Boy Meets World,” Keshia Knight Pulliam from “The Cosby Show,” and Joey Lawrence from “Blossom.” Each competitor brings not only nostalgia but also experience, as some have already renovated their own homes.

To guide the teams, HGTV design experts Carter Oosterhouse and Sabrina Soto will lend their expertise as the celebrities work to create the perfect homes reminiscent of the decade.
