The Block’s Lisa and Rosco are hoping their Mount Eliza auction result will help fund their dream family home and farm on the outskirts of Perth.

The Block’s Lisa has given birth to her second son in a hospital shower, with husband Rosco arriving just four seconds too late.

The Perth couple welcomed Jude Ross on October 23, with the 3.33kg newborn making a dramatic entrance just days before their Mount Eliza home goes under the hammer.

Lisa, 34, revealed to New Idea that she had been seven days overdue when she drove herself to hospital for a routine check-up, expecting to be booked in for an induction.

But shortly after arriving at 2.20pm, she began experiencing contractions that rapidly intensified.

Having endured a 24-hour labour with their first son, Lando, now two, Lisa initially believed she had plenty of time before the baby arrived.

She contacted Rosco, 38, who was about 40 minutes away looking after their toddler, and suggested he make his way to the hospital.

But events took an unexpected turn when a midwife recommended Lisa take a shower as the contractions intensified.

Within about two hours of arriving at hospital, the reality television star was giving birth while kneeling in a shower cubicle, with two midwives helping deliver her son at 4.26pm.

“It was totally crazy,” Lisa told New Idea.

Rosco arrived just four seconds after Jude was born, walking in to discover his wife holding their newborn son against her chest.

“I couldn’t believe it,” he told the publication.

The new mother was subsequently wheeled into the maternity ward to applause from people in the nearby waiting room, who had heard the unexpected delivery unfolding.

Despite the drama, Jude was born healthy and the family returned home the following day.

But the newborn’s first week has been anything but quiet.

At just four days old, Jude had already taken his first flight, travelling from Perth to Melbourne with his family ahead of The Block’s October 31 auctions.

The extraordinary arrival comes after Lisa and Rosco discovered they were expecting their second child early in filming the Channel 9 renovation series.

Lisa initially attributed her nausea to the stress of relocating across Australia, before learning she was seven weeks pregnant.

The Block’s Lisa and Rosco discovered they were expecting their second child early in filming, adding another major milestone to an already demanding renovation.

The couple later revealed they were expecting another boy, affectionately nicknaming him Wombat during the pregnancy.

Rosco’s fly-in, fly-out work had previously raised concerns that he might miss the birth entirely, with the couple telling WHO earlier this month that his offshore commitments could prevent him returning home in time.

Now, the family of four is preparing for another major milestone as Lisa and Rosco’s House 3 property heads to auction.

Their son Jude is expected to appear during the televised finale on November 1, at just over a week old.
